Here goes my first fic posted, I don't have a beta so ignore the mistakes.

CHAPTER 1

 

Here it was a Friday night and Orlando was sitting in his battered old recliner in the corner of the dark apartment. The only light was one on the end table and it barley cast of enough light to see. For Orlando he didn’t need the light to see the picture that was in his hands, he knew that face staring back at him by heart. The tears that was streaming down his face where unnoticed as he continued to stare at the picture and rock back and forth. All that he could think of was how his life was over knowing that Jason was gone. How was he supposed to go on? His friends tried to tell him that it would get better with time but it had been six months since Jason had died and things were not any better for Orlando. He continued to miss Jason daily and would often cry himself to sleep that was when he would sleep.

A persistent knock at the door startled Orlando wiping his face and taking a deep breath he ready himself for whichever friend it was wanting him to go out with them tonight. Opening the door he should have known that it was Elijah. Seeing that his friend had once again been crying Elijah quickly pulled Orlando into his arms.

“Oh Orli please don’t do this to yourself anymore, its time to move on Jason wouldn’t this for you.”

As another round of tears started Orlando replied “I know but I don’t know what to do the pain is still so fresh and I just can’t forget about him.”

“No one is asking you to forget but you have start living again that's what Jason would want, so pull yourself together and change clothes we are going out.”

“I really don’t”

“I am not taking no for answer”

Seeing the determined look on Elijah face Orlando decided better just do as Elijah’s says and so with a heavy heart Orlando went to get ready for the evening.
