He just tries too hard to hide it ;)

Warning: I never believe much of what this kind of press says (and the moralizing tone they get) but I'm really trying to give it a lighter tone here. Playing with fantasies in my head about him and Viggo. ;) So, whatever happened I don't care, I'm just trying to be crazy and hopefully, give you a small smile.

Yeah, I read that in the Mirror. Looks like I am going to be spending my night debunkking this rumour from my flist. The article says "Considering Orlando's reputation as a bit of a womaniser..." I'm sorry, but he is not a womaniser, never has been and I do not want to hear any more about it. So there. :D

I can only imagine Orlando, with this jerks saying things about him. I hope he pays zero attention. Right?
And he has always been sweet and friendly but people will interpret it anyway they want. If he were a woman, he would be called a whore. Horrible.

Well if it helps your fantasies you should read the Huff Post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/26/inside-oscar-after-partie_n_88481.html) which says he was rather hot-and-cold with rummer. Also, news of peep shows and strippers at Prince's aftershow party (the one Orlando was at with Rummer) here (http://www.metro.co.uk/fame/article.html?in_article_id=104621&in_page_id=7) There was a pre Oscar party at the Beverly Hills Hotel (as written about in Variety (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117981386.html?categoryid=13&cs=1&nid=2562)) to which Orlando went but Viggo didn't.

Also... an article in the Times says that the majority of Oscar nominated folk are put up at the Four Seasons and that security is so tight you have to verify who you are prior to getting into the lift. Don't know if Viggo would have booked in - or if it's only for out of towners.

Viggo was spotted in LA on January 26th: (Thanks to Defamer's privacy watch) · Went to the John Doe/Grant Lee Phillips show last night (1/26) at Largo. It was a great show. Jon Brion even joined them on stage for a bit. When John Doe left the stage to watch for a bit I saw him wander to a table in the corner near the entrance. Who was hangin out there: Viggo Mortensen. He was haning out with a couple other people enjoying the show.

Viggo was in London by the following week - due to an interview in the Guardian, I think he flew into London on Feb 7th.

Also according to the dailymail Orlando may have pulled Jennifer Aniston - so that makes her, Rummer, and the Victoria Secret model - who talks about dating him here (http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,23257654-5012974,00.html).

So much publicity - makes you think someone's trying damn hard to get attention.

eta: As for the digs in the press about him spreading it around, I think they come from the rumour that he was dumped by Kate B for giving her a case of the clap.

For the record, after the awards Viggo went to the Govenor's Ball dinner (you can only go if you were at the awards) with his neice Sidney. He either sat with Cate Blanchett for dinner or moved over to her table later. Google that and you'll see gorgeous pictures of them everywhere. Also in 'their party' was Julian Schanbel who is a long time friend of Viggo's and whose daughter Viggo dated for a while - apparently - back when he was first filming LoTR. What is fact is that Perceval Press published one art book of her work.

The press say that Viggo left the GoBa (as they call it) late or early depending on how you look at it. No press states that he then went on to either Elton or Prince's bash and to my mind he didn't. Syndey was having dinner with him (there's a press photo somewhere) so I think he probably took his neice home.

Also Orlando... he's racking up airmiles more than anything else. Google and you'll see that between the start of the year and now he's been in London, NY to see the model, LA - he was there for Heath's memorial - and that trip to Nepal.

Do I secretly think he's sneaking round with Viggo? I have to say no. Actually I think he was mad-infatuated (who wouldn't be) but that they didn't actually happen. I think his priorities and Viggo's differ somewhat.

If you look at the nose rubbing photos from RoTK era there's a look of caring-though-strained-patience on Viggo's face (to my mind) which I read as: Oh-god-the-poor-boy-is-still-crushing. My theory is that sometime after the film opened in NZ (the world premiere and the panties photo - you know the one) and the end of the whirl-wind - or sometime during Troy he said something. I don't think he made a play, but I do think that he may have accidently on purpose said something - over dinner, let's say - and I think Viggo shut him down gently.

Why do I think this? Orlando panted at Eric Bana throughout Troy - the film - and you can only put so much down to so-so acting, thus I'd say that's transference. By Kingdom of Heaven it was as if Orlando couldn't have Viggo so tried to become what he wanted.

But... that's just my impresssion from a scant amount of gossip mags and the movies themselves, which were to my mind dire. Well okay Jeremy Irons was hot as hell, and I don't often think so.

I'm also not sure if Viggo's comments about actors who sell out and become Hollywood player's aren't gentle pot-shots at Orlando who did get good reviews for his theatre work and who could probably party less and actually work on his craft more.

Yes, I have thought about this waaaaay too much for which I blame Viggo.

Also, and although this is none of my business *g* I'd say that if Orlando isn't bi (at least) I'll eat my gardar. Viggo? I think he's all heart, soul and art that man. To me he reads straight, but I can't see him caring one way or another if someone was younger, older, male, female, gorgeous, streotypically unattractive but interesting... I just don't think he gives a shit about what people think and loves who he loves.

Currently it is apparently a spanish actress who was in Alatriste.

Above all my reading on Viggo is that he loves his muse, his family, the wild, nature, horses etc. more than most people he's been invovled with and that he's inherently introverted. But really what do I know?

Zilch. Nada. Nothing.
