Title: Thank you
Author:
obvmluver
Characters: Viggo/Orlando, Julian and baby girl
Rating: PG-13, I think
Warnings: Don’t know if there’s any.
Summary: An emotional afternoon.
Disclaimer: This is not intended to hurt anyone nor am I making any profit with this. All mistakes there might be are my own.
Author’s notes: Seems that the muses are back here demanding I’d write another part. So I thought I’d take back all the words about stopping this series after six parts.
Previous parts:
Part I:Magic on a Christmas Eve
Part II:Happiness
Part III:Telling news
Part IV:Christening Bundle and starting a family
Part V:A family picnic
Part VI:Dancing snowflakes
The white house in Santa Monica Mountains was filled with people. The baby girl had gotten a name today: Gabrielle Märta Bloom-Mortensen. Orlando had wanted to bring out the Danish inheritance in her name by adding Märta in it. Märta meant “pearl” in Danish.
Viggo had been totally in love with her the instant he had cut her cord. And he could never express the feelings he felt for Orlando who had given him what he had missed, a daughter. The hobbits had fallen in love with her one by one as soon as they had seen her. She looked so much like Orlando, with her dark curly hair and expressive brown eyes. Her nose was from Viggo and her mouth too. Viggo was glad she had so much in common with Orlando. But in the end his kids were beautiful, all of them. Even Henry who was a grown up already.
“Do you think I could steal you for myself for a second?” Orlando asked quietly standing behind Viggo who was currently leaning against the kitchen door frame looking at the elated faces of their families and friends. “Anything you want, angel.” Viggo said turning around. Smiling Orlando leaned forward against him placing his warm palms on his chest and pressing their foreheads and noses together. “I wanted to thank you.” he said warmly nuzzling his nose against Viggo’s. Viggo nuzzled him back pecking the luscious lips. “What for?” he breathed his question. “All of this. All we’ve been through. For seeing me as something more than just an adrenaline junkie or over-bouncy kid. For accepting what and most importantly who I am. And for Julian and Gaby. And I guess for sharing the rest of your life with me, out of all people. I feel so honoured, have felt that for such a long time.” “I should be the one saying all those words, angel, for I am so grateful. Just look at this...” Viggo said turning them to look at the people milling around. Happiness was evident in their faces. Laughter was the music filling the air. “So I thank you, Orlando, for being here, with me. For being who you are. You’ve made me whole, angel. You’ve made me a better man.” Smiling Orlando embraced an emotional Viggo pressing their cheeks together before burying his face in the crook of Viggo’s neck. Viggo felt content standing there in the strong arms.
So, tell me, should I be writing more?
