Part 3:Telling news
Part 4:Christening Bundle and starting a family
Part 5:A family picnic
Julian woke up screaming in his own room. He had seen a terrible nightmare about monsters and woken up. He pushed his cover aside and ran to his parents’ bedroom. The room was dark and the little boy couldn’t see clearly. He went for Orlando trying to wake him up. Nothing happened. The distress intensified and Julian started crying. The sobs woke someone up.
Grace, Viggo’s mom turned the bedside lamp on and sat up. “What’s wrong, Bundle?” she asked. Julian was confused. His sleepy mind couldn’t wrap around the whole thing he saw. Panic struck him. Had daddy turned into granny?
“Jude...” a familiar soft voice called from the door. Viggo-daddy stood there leaning against the doorframe a smile on his face. “Come here.” Viggo said crouching down. He opened his arms and soon a stricken little boy ran to him. “Why’s granny here? I thought daddy...” “Daddy is in the hospital.” “Why daddy? Did the monsters get him?” “What monsters, Jude?” “Those I had in my dream.” “No. Orli is feeling fine. A few hours ago daddy gave birth to a baby. You’ve become a big brother, Jude.”
Huge grey-blue eyes lit up. Julian started bouncing in happiness. “Can we go see? Daddy, can we?” “Of course, big guy. But first... Let’s get some sleep, okay?” “Okay.” Smiling at Grace Viggo led Julian back to his room.
“Hop in, your Majesty.” Viggo said bowing deep while lifting the cover up. Julian did so and Viggo covered his son gently, sitting down on the bed. “What would you say if we bought flowers and gave them to daddy? We could have another bouquet of flowers for the baby as well.” Julian’s eyes lit up again.

Viggo had taken Julian to a flower shop and there they had picked up Orlando’s favourite flowers, white orchids and lilies. The florist made a big bouquet and a smaller one. Julian looked proud when he walked out of the flower shop. Viggo chuckled at the sight and paid for the flowers.
In the hospital Julian was bouncing again. He was so anxious to meet his daddy and the newcomer. Orlando started laughing when Julian burst into the private room. Viggo came in a few seconds later chuckling. He felt his heart warming and melting at the sight. A tired but smiling Orlando was holding their newborn daughter and Julian was trying to climb to the bed. “Hey, Jude...” Orlando said huskily. “I missed you, daddy. And we brought you flowers.” Julian exclaimed brightly, showing him a tiny bouquet of flowers. Orlando smiled, said he had missed Bundle as well. Freeing his other arm he helped Julian on the bed next to him. Viggo, too, pulled a bigger one from behind his back. Orlando took it and buried his nose in the fresh flowers. “Mmmhhmmm.” he murmured and looked at Viggo through half lidded eyes. They shared a lingering kiss before Viggo took a vase from a cupboard, filled it with water and adjusted the bouquet in it. He also found a perfect place for the smaller one. “How are you feeling?” Viggo asked looking deep into Orlando’s eyes before casting his gaze into a pair of bright chocolate brown orbs. “Sore.” Orlando breathed out but his answer was followed by a happy smile.

The whole house smelled like a newborn baby. It suited them fine. In fact it was associated with unconditional love. Orlando sat on the couch between Viggo’s legs looking at the snowflakes dancing through the air. “Funny how quiet it is.” he said gently running his fingers on Viggo’s thigh. “Too quiet.” Viggo said back turning his head. Yeah, their little trouble maker was on his toes peeking over the wall of the cot, staring at his little sister. Orlando turned to look as well. That silly but happy smile found its way on his face once again. And a happy squeal escaped his lips as Viggo bit his neck, his face buried in the silky curls. That squeal broke into laughter a few seconds later. Married life with Vig was a bliss, two kids a blessing.
