Desperate plotbunnies!!

Hi everyone

I've had a couple of plot bunnies running round my head for a while, if anyone would take them up I'd love them forever. My muses don't want to play, but if someone takes one or both, as I’d think they’d make really great stories.  *bats eyes prettily* I'd be happy to beta and/or do a pretty banner for them. 

All details of the plot bunnies are negotiable and any changes are fine, I've got a more detailed plan, especially for the first one, if anyone is curious. If anyone feels inspired, and I'm hoping someone does, please feel free to mail me with any queries/questions etc at: bageria8@hotmail.com

Plot Bunny 1:

 

 “Desperate In Love/Desperate In Suburbia” - based loosely on Desperate Housewives

 

Set in fictional neighbourhood of Valencia Lane, a model of upper-class, respectable society, but as with all neighbourhoods, a lot goes on behind closed doors…

 

To the casual observer, Orlando Bloom has his life all together. He has a great job, fantastic friends, manages to control his rambunctious nieces and nephew and lives on the swish and respectable Valencia Lane the one thing that’s missing, to Orlando it’s the most important: love. Unfortunately Orlando is renowned in his neighbourhood for his disastrous love life. So far he’s managed a series of truly awful dates, and attracting a demented stalker. His serious relationships have been even less successful. His ex-girlfriend, Kate, turned out to be a psychotic social-climber and his ex-husband, Christian, has suddenly has arrived from England, begging for them to reconcile. His friends and family try to help but are often helpless spectators of Orlando’s disastrous love life, or are desperately trying to keep a grip on their own relationships. All this seems to change when a handsome new doctor, Viggo, moves into the neighbourhood. Will Orlando and Viggo ever get together between misunderstandings, accidental public nudity, accidents, deception, betrayal and psychotic ex’s?

 

Plot Bunny 2: Housesitter VigOrli plot bunny

 

Viggo is a gifted architect, and a romantic dreamer at heart. When he proposes to his boyfriend, David Wenham, in the form of a house he designed and built. David says no and breaks off the relationship, breaking Viggo’s heart. His friends and family try to convince Viggo he’s better off without David (who they never liked) but it doesn’t work. Several months later at an out of town company party Viggo is forced to attend he meets Orlando, a British down on his luck waiter. Viggo spends the entire night drunkenly flirting with Orlando, and tells Orlando about the house he built. Orlando returns back from work to discover he’s been kicked out of his apartment and not knowing what else to do he makes his way to the house Viggo told him about. Finding it deserted, Orlando moves in. When the neighbours become curious about the beautiful new man in Viggo’s house, Orlando in a moment of desperation pretends he’s Viggo’s new husband, and finds himself making up a dream courtship and relationship for them and the entire town fall in love with Orli, and even David is impressed, and rather jealous at Viggo’s surprise marriage. When Viggo returns, intending to sell the house, he is gob smacked to find Orlando there, but when he realises he can win back David, he and Orlando continue with the fake (and very rocky) marriage, with Viggo slowly winning David over. Unfortunately Viggo’s friends and family adore Orli and think he’s perfect for Viggo, and do everything they can to keep them together. Things are further complicated when Orlando realises he’s fallen in love with Viggo, and he knows Viggo only has eyes for his ex, but when Viggo’s cousin falls for Orli himself and tries to make a move, Viggo finds he can’t face the prospect of loosing his ‘husband’…
