 You guys are the BEST! All of those responses to my question as to where you are in the world... I was smiling all day, and yesterday, and even now thinking about it! I told the BF that one of my life's dreams has been realized: I'm an internationally known writer! Ha ha! I'm in the US, in New Hampshire, near the ocean. I can also occassionally be found on the eastern side of Pennsylvania, where we plan to move back to in a couple of years. Thanks again everyone, it was so great hearing from you, as always, and great to hear from those who had posted for the first time!! I LOVE this community!!!!

“You haven’t changed a bit.”

 

Viggo grinned when he heard the familiar voice on the other end of the phone line. “How’s that?”

 

“I got your…note.”

 

“And?”

 

“I think you’re lucky I’m a guy.”

 

“Of course I am. It gives the sex that little bit of taboo I’ve been missing.”

 

“No, taboo would include a whip and a lot of leather. And possibly sheep.”

 

“You’re the expert.”

 

“I’m…?” Orlando sighed and Viggo heard a soft laugh. “Viggo.”

 

“Oh, a drawn out accent on the second syllable. You’re channeling my mother.”

 

“A napkin.”

 

“Inspiration struck me.”

 

“Did it have to strike after you wiped your mouth?”

 

“Spicy chicken wings.”

 

“Funny, I could almost guess that by the stains.”

 

“They were good.”

 

“Obviously. You wrote me a dirty limerick.”

 

“I did.”

 

“A bad dirty limerick.”

 

“I had a few beers with my wings.”

 

“’There once was a boy named Orli

Who made Viggo hard and horny

Much sex they had

And Viggo was glad

Because hetero sex was boring.’”

 

“I might have done a few shots before the wings.”

 

“Beanie is not allowed to take you drinking anymore. I don’t care if it’s been years since you last saw each other.”

 

“I was lonely?”

 

“Vig, there are ten stamps on this thing. Did you forget how much postage was to England?”

 

“That was Sean.”

 

“You couldn’t have just waited until morning to mail this?”

 

“If I had, you would never have seen it.”

 

“Fair enough.” Orlando’s breath was loud over the line. “A girl would never understand the purity of your love when it’s expressed on a dirty napkin.”

 

“You may be right.”

 

“When I get home Friday, I’ll show you how much I appreciate such a token of your affection.”

 

“Yeah?” Viggo asked, rubbing a thumb along the zipper of his jeans.  “Going to make me beg for it?”

 

“Oh yeah.”

 

“Hmm.”

 

“Miss you, Vig.”

 

“I’ll be waiting for you.”

 

Viggo was smiling as he listened for the click when Orlando disconnected then did the same.
