The elf had asked him to come to the garden this evening and when Aragorn arrived he saw that the blonde sat under one of the trees on a quilt. He smiled up shyly when Aragorn took a seat beside him, leaning into a gentle kiss.

“Why did you want me to come here? It would be much more comfortable in our room.” The brunette asked softly when their lips parted again. Legolas shifted nervously.

“Because…it was here where we shared our first kiss and tonight is our first Christmas Eve together and I…wanted to give something to you.” He finally managed to say.

“You have already given me so much melleth-nîn.” Aragorn smiled, cupping Legolas’ cheek in his hand.

“Nay I didn’t.” Legolas refused and took Aragorn’s hand in his.
