Author: Vatulele
Rating: PG
Pairing: Viggo/Orlando
Summary: Thanksgiving day in the Bloom-Mortensen house
Feedback: Sure...pumpkin pie would be accepted also.
Disclaimer: I highly doubt Orlando spent thanksgiving day with Viggo and others in this little fluffy dose of pumpkin pie influenced fluff ficlettes. Besides he's english...english people don't celebrate thanksgiving...do they?
"Henry, finish setting the table please." The young and somewhat surly adult looked up from the traditional Thanksgiving day parade and groaned.
"Dad, it's eleven thirty dinner isn't until two thirty." Viggo in a somewhat frazzled state looked up from the oven to the pathetic looking half set table.
"Henry, Orlando's gone to pick up his parents and his sister at the airport, your mom will be here at one, the table needs to be set and you need to get a shower." Another groan was heard before heavy steps came into the kitchen.
"Short stemed wine glasses or long stemed?"

"Darling! Oh it's so good to see you!" Sonia Bloom said as she enveloped her only son in a hug. Kissing him once on each cheek she finnally took a good look at him. "Orlando dear, you do need to eat more, you're skin and bones look at you. Sam! Colin! Hurry will you?"
"Sam!" Orlando took his older sister into a hug and kissed her on the cheek, "I've missed you sis."
Colin came up then and put his arms around his children, "Well, lets get a move on then. Son?"

"Hi baby, where's Dad at?" Exene asked as she tip-toed to give her son a kiss on the cheek. Henry nodded towards the kitchen.
"He's been in there all day since like five this morning, and he made me set the table." Exene laughed at her sons lothing towards household chores.
"Viggo?" Exene called, not wanting to startle her ex. "Viggo you in here?" A sudden crash and curses in three different languages told her her plan had failed. "Sorry."
"It's all right, I just dropped some pans." Viggo looked up at his ex from his knees and smiled. "Good to see you Chris." Exene grimaced.
"You know I hate that name, here's the wine anyway. The house looks lovely, I'm guessing it was Orlando's Martha Stuart instincts that kicked in due to the fact that every avaliable space isn't covered with something."
"Don't underestimate my Martha Stuart skills...they just don't kick in too often, old age and all that."
******************************************
"We're home!" Orlando bounded into the house filled with the excitement of having his family near him for the holiday, even if it wasn't really a Bloom family tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving. "Mum, Dad you'll both be staying in the guest bedroom next to the studio, Sam you'll have Henry's room, and don't worry about the room, we had it fumigated last week."
"Dinner's going to be ready in half an hour if you want to go ahead and wash up." Viggo yelled from the kitchen.
"Oh bullhockey, that boy needs some help," Sonia said, "Just let me wash my hands and I'll be right in to help you Viggo."
******************************************
"Dear Lord, we thank you for bringing us all here today for the first time as a family to share in this day of Thanks. We thank you for bringing Orlando and Viggo together, and we thank you for bringing this bountiful food to our table. Lord remember those who could not be with us today, remember our friends and especially the people in this world who don't have anyone to spend this day with, and those who do not have any food to eat. Amen...Let's eat people."
********************************************
"What are you thankful for Orlando?" Viggo said while tracing his finger down Orlando's arm.
"You. Having you with me, having you love me. Having my family love you. Having my family love me and you together. Having such a dysfunctional family that it actually works and having Pumpkin Pie with Reddi-Whip exist."
