Dance
When we dance
Angels will run and hide their wings
- Sting
Silent gaze
Brown into blue into brown
Candles flickers shadow and ochre glow
They press close, uniting warm chests and bellies
Arms twine around smooth muscled shoulders, waist
They move, entranced, swaying like sea grass in a slow current
Gentle fingertips stroke familiar paths on treasured skin
Wordlessly remembering their beginning
Anticipating all that will be
Lost in each other, and
Found in each other
The music has ended
But they hear it
Still
