Falling From Grace.
Jun. 23rd, 2005 08:32 pmTitle: Falling From Grace
Rating: R (though, it could also be PG)
Pairing: Viggorli - even though the names are not mentioned.
Summary: AU - When angels fall from the heavens, devils are the ones to catch them.
Disclaimer: Well, since it is an AU...I would say it's not real.
Warning: Religious undertones, perhaps. If you squint.
He knows it is wrong. They shouldn’t be together. It is always too much and, yet, never enough. But isn’t that how it has always worked to make a saint become a sinner? Give enough just to bring him back begging. Make him always needing and wanting more.
His faith is too fragile to resist the temptation. He isn’t strong enough to deny those words whispered in his ear. To push away those hands that feel just right tracing his skin, leaving infernos of desire behind. To turn his mouth away from those kisses that speak of sin and wanton desire. Once he might have been strong, but now... He’s becoming a fallen angel. Falling from grace into the fires of amorous hell. Powerless to stop this from happening. Not caring, because the coolness of heaven is nothing compared to this burning inside of him.
As his body arches, seeking more, his voice gone hoarse with screams of lust, he can feel himself changing. As he looks into the eyes of his tempter, he sees passion, lust, obsession, hunger, and so much more. With tears falling down his cheeks like rain, he clings tighter and breaths the words of surrender into his lover’s mouth. He closes his eyes, so he cannot see the look of grim satisfaction that crosses his lover’s face. They both know that the knowledge of their love will not go unnoticed now. When the moment where pain and pleasure becomes darkly intertwined, he hears a cracking sound. Cries of rapture and unforgivable loss tears from his throat. He has given up everything for love of the one he should’ve never loved.
He had been warned that it was a dangerous, if not impossible, mission. To try and turn back someone that was so lost. He had ignored the warnings, thinking it would be easy. He had been so wrong.
With a seduction born of centuries of knowledge, he had been slowly and gradually lead astray. Touches gentler than a soft summer breeze. Kisses sweeter than a child’s laughter. Words spoken with such soft yearning, that he was left breathless. His trust, then his love had been gained to the point that nothing else mattered.
Now he’s no more than another fallen angel. Guilty of a sin that he can never regret. His faith and belief in someone else now. He wants to cry at the unfairness. How could a love so pure and rich be so wrong?
His lover pulls him close, cradling those broken wings with a gentle hand. Whispering into his ear that he’ll never give up on him. He’ll never turn his back.
And somehow he believes.

Date: 2005-06-29 09:53 am (UTC)I have a huge thing for Aziraphale/Crowley but that almost invariably ends up beingfar too cheerful for it's own good. I love the brutality of the relationship and how love and lust can be so twisted by our own senses of right and wrong.
And stuff.
Anyway. Rowr.

Date: 2005-06-29 04:24 pm (UTC)My friend said it was a story of the homosexuality of actors and how their public condemns them. For the public is god to an actor and fickle in their affections. She said the question is more whom seduced whom in the V/O relationship. Was Orlando the seducer and persuaded Viggo to give up his hetrosexuality? Or was it Viggo, whom could not resist such youth and beauty and had to have it for his own?
I found that to be a most interesting interpretation of what I wrote. I always love seeing what people see in my stories that are like this. I loved seeing what you saw! :) And I am still blushing over your lovely remarks. After all, you have given me what I was searching for...was the mood right? :) So, many, many thanks to you for that.
