Note: I love them. I do. And I really love Beanie. I don't think he's always the villain...but he's good for it in this story. :)
Viggo bent down to pick up the knife, cursing his shaking knees. He casually placed a hand on the kitchen counter to steady himself. “Beanie? What the hell are you doing here? And how did you get in?”
Sean held up a silver key. “Remember that time I lost mine, and we got another one made? I found it in a pair of jeans. Thought I’d return it.” He placed the key on an end table.
Viggo swallowed deeply. Sean’s hair, a mixture of blond and red, had never looked softer. He wore a grey fleece jacket and a pair of blue jeans. Sandals covered his bare feet. “What are you doing here?” Viggo repeated.
“Thought I’d return the key, like I said. And I thought I’d say good morning.”
Viggo grabbed the edge of the counter as Sean started to walk over. He prayed he could get Sean out of there quietly before Orlando and Elijah woke up. “At this time of day?”
“It IS morning, isn’t it?” Sean grinned his sexy grin and Viggo prayed for strength. “Missed you, love.”
“That’s nice.” Viggo cleared his throat and tried again. This time his voice didn’t crack. “I haven’t really missed you.”
“That so?” Sean grinned again. “Knowing how sensitive you are, I highly doubt that.”
“I don’t really care what you think, Sean. Thanks for the key. You should leave.”
“Why?” Sean slowly walked over, pressing his body against Viggo’s. Viggo found himself trapped between Sean and the counter. “We could catch up…maybe take up where we left off?”
“You mean where you decided I was too clingy and you’d rather have random fucks?” Viggo asked, finally looking Sean in the eye.
Sean frowned. “I told you. It WAS random. It didn’t mean anything. Hell, I haven’t even seen him since then.”
“That’s not the point, Sean. You cheated on me. I thought you loved me.”
“I DO love you, babe.” Sean nuzzled at Viggo’s neck. “You’re telling me you didn’t miss me? Didn’t miss THIS?” Sean gently cupped between Viggo’s legs.
“Vig?” A voice said behind Sean. Viggo looked over Sean’s shoulder.
Sean slowly turned around. “And who is this?” Sean said with amusement. “Kinda young for ya, isn’t he?”
“I’m Elijah,” Elijah said firmly. He looked about ten years old in Viggo’s clothes. His face looked even more bruised in the daylight.
“Playing rough, Viggo? Didn’t know ya liked it that way,” Sean said. He didn’t move from his place against Viggo.
“I’m Viggo’s COUSIN,” Elijah said, annoyed. “Crashed here.”
“Looks like someone crashed into you, mate,” Sean said.
Elijah glared at him. Something changed in his demeanor, making him seem more reassured. “I don’t really have to explain myself to you, do I?” He looked at Viggo. “Viggo, I don’t remember you saying you were having someone over.”
“He just showed up,” Viggo said helplessly, amazed by this change in Elijah.
“Ah,” Elijah said, nodding. “So he can just leave then, right?”
“What’s goin’ on, baby?” A sleepy-looking Orlando came to put an arm around Elijah’s waist. He wore only jeans, and Viggo thought he looked incredibly sexy first thing in the morning. “Who’s this?” Orlando blinked hard. “Wait. The bloke from the picture? I thought you two were over.”
“We WERE,” Sean said, pointedly emphasizing the past tense.
“We ARE,” Viggo corrected, the sight of Orlando finally giving him the strength to push Sean away.
“Let’s talk, babe.” Sean put a hand on Viggo’s cheek.
“Fine. We’ll talk. I’ll meet you for coffee at Black Forest in an hour, okay?” Viggo said, sighing.
“Good.” Sean gave him a beaming smile. “See you boys around.” Sean sauntered out of the apartment.
“We need to get going,” Orlando snapped. “Let’s get dressed, Elijah.”
“Keep those clothes,” Viggo told Elijah. “Yours are bloody.”
“Thank you.” Elijah went to find his shoes.
“Orli,” Viggo began.
“No biggie, Viggo. You wanna get back with your old man, that’s fine with me.” Orlando shrugged. “All in a day’s work for me.”
Viggo wanted to say something, to explain that he had no intentions of getting back with Sean, but Orlando didn’t give him a chance. He quickly got dressed and went out the door. “Thank you again, Viggo.” Elijah gave him a kiss on the cheek and followed Orlando.
