I'm new to this community, actually I'm new to LiveJournal, I'm not very familiar with how the system works, so please put me back in my place if I do anything wrong.
I've spent the last couple of months going through the past entries of this community, and reading as many Viggo/Orlando RPS stories as my mind could take. While I've been reading/writing fanfiction for a couple of years now, RPS is still a relatively new concept for me, (I'd go on about this, but I imagine most people would find it quite dull). It disturbed me for a while, but I couldn't help but be fascinated, so I kept reading.
Talk about pleasent surprises! After so long going through bad(!) fanfiction of various fandoms (including LoTR FPS), this place was a breath of fresh air, I haven't been able to pull myself away from it since.
I'm still playing around with a few plot bunnies, it's been a while since I've done any creative writing of any kind, hopefully at least one of these plots will come through...eventually...
(Random side note: After seeing the trailers/screen shots of Orlando Bloom in Kingdom of Heaven, did anyone have the fleeting thought: "Wow, if Aragorn and Legolas had a lovechild, /that/ would be what he looked like...")
Anyway...Excuse the long drabble, I'm now going to go play more with the plot bunnies mentioned above.

Welcome to our fandom. It's a good place, most of the time, although we do have our fair share of angst and wank. But so does eery fandom, right? Welcome anyway. It's nice to have new people.
