I started a VigOrli story ages ago, and just came across it again in my files. I had a much longer and more elaborate plot planned for it, but I don't see finishing it anytime soon or ever, so here's the beginning. I think it stands alone fairly well. Only boring you with this explanation so that you'll understand why there are so many apparent irrelevances, which were intended as seeds for the rest of the story.
