The sun sifting through a crack in the bedroom window ran its golden fingers on a long leg, touching the back of one bent knee before disappearing into the covers and shadows. Orlando was still sound asleep even though it was nearing ten in the morning, still completely exhausted by last night, now enjoying the much needed sleep.
Viggo sat on the bed putting socks on, watching the steady rise and fall of Orlando’s side as he slept on. Orlando had buried both of his hands under one of his big pillows and kicked the thin sheet lower so it only covered him from hips down. Viggo couldn’t resist the sight - the tantalizingly smooth silk of the sheet lying gently on soft skin. Carefully Viggo took a hold of the sheet, squeezing the fabric with his forefinger and thumb and pulled, feeling his mouth watering as the silk licked the olive skin revealing firm and strong muscles underneath.
Bending down slightly with care, he brought his lips close to a prominent hip, feeling how the warmth radiated off the sleep warm body. Viggo pressed a kiss onto the hip, then about two inches higher, following an invisible path he had memorized years ago. He pressed a kiss on each prominent rib under the arm and onto a smooth shoulder before he reached a warm earlobe. Climbing onto his knees moving silently he pressed his upper lip on the earlobe and let his tongue shamelessly quest under it. Feeling the warm and sleepy body moving under him Viggo quickly moved, pressing tiny butterfly kisses on Orlando’s jaw and finally, deep brown eyes opened.
Orlando turned onto his back and yawned, his eyes slipping shut again. The sight, how Orlando wrinkled his nose when he yawned, had never failed to make Viggo smile even though he had shared more mornings with Orlando than he cared to count by now. The brown eyes blinked open again and a matching smile spread on Orlando’s face as well. Orlando arched his back and stretched his muscles languidly, the slow movement of his body pure agony on Viggo.
“Morning...” Orlando said, dragging the syllables out, stressing the letters with ease, leaving his arms lying loosely on top of his head onto the pillow.
Viggo was once again struck speechless. He still couldn’t understand how Orlando did it, how he managed to lure him, even just awakened. He might never fully understand it but he vowed long ago he wouldn’t question a thing about it. Pressing his open palms on the sides of Orlando’s shoulders he bent down to claim the luscious lips and lose himself in the sensation. It was the best feeling in the world as strong arms and legs wrapped around his frame and the kiss was answered.
“Hmm... Morning.” Viggo finally answered, feeling his resolve shattering and falling down like snow. Orlando was doing things to him with subtle little moves that left him no other choice but to give in, to admit he had been struck by warm love again in one of its purest forms.
The sun sifting through a crack in the bedroom window ran its golden fingers on a corner of the foot of the bed, touching the lonely pair of socks lying there discarded before sliding away onto the carpet and finally into the shadows. Both of them were sound asleep even though it was nearing one in the afternoon, still completely exhausted by the morning, now enjoying the lazy day in bed.
