Title: Magic on a Christmas Eve
Author:
obvmluver
Beta: None
Pairing: Viggo/Orlando
Rating: PG-13, I think
Warnings: Shortness, Mpreg
Summary: A tiny peek into Mortensen-Bloom household on a Christmas Eve.
Disclaimer: This is not intended to hurt anyone nor am I making any profit with the ficlet.
Snow had covered the frozen ground. Dusk had veiled nature under a dark shroud. A full moon cast its rays painting the frozen plants in silver. A warm glow came throw the windows from inside.
Orlando stood in front of the fireplace hanging two stockings on it. Viggo’s mother had made them last year as presents for both of them. Yeah, Christmas time was nice, Orlando thought as he took a step backwards to look at his work. His hands rested on his stomach. Next year they wouldn’t be alone anymore.
Viggo, who had been decorating the front porch, came back in only to meet a tender scene. It always warmed him to see Orlando running his hands on his stomach and speaking sweet nothings believing no one was listening. Viggo took off his shoes, hung his jacket on the rack and silently, with woollen sock clad feet, made his way into the living room.
Orlando was a beautiful sight, had always been, Viggo couldn’t deny that. But somehow the little miracle living inside made him glow a different light. He had just started showing. Everything was visible now under his bright green t-shirt.
“Your daddy is watching us again.” Orlando whispered loud enough for Viggo to hear. It brought a tender smile on his face. “Come here, Orli.” Viggo called sitting down onto the couch. Smiling Orlando turned and joined him, sitting between his long legs. “Your daddy can’t keep his eyes off you two. Rarely has he seen a miracle.” Viggo answered gently placing his slightly larger hands on top of Orlando’s on his stomach.
The fire they had put on a while ago was rattling merrily in the fireplace warming them and painting the room in warm yellow and gold. Silence filled the room as Orlando rested his head on Viggo’s shoulder. They had always felt that Christmas was somehow magical. This year it was special.
What did you think? (Sucks, I know.)
