vigorliI've got a couple of plot bunnies that have been running around my brain for a while, but I'm frankly lacking the time or energy to write them, having said that, I think they could make really good VigOrli stories (modest aren't I? *g*)
If anyone wants to take one - or both of these up, I'd be extremely greatful. I'll make a pretty banner for the story and offer my services as a beta if you need one, or just to bounce ideas off etc. I've tried to leave the bunnies open to interpretation, so please feel free to make your own changes etc to the bunnies.

Plot bunny 1: Casanova/Dangerous Liaisons plot bunny
In 1753, in Venice, Viggo is the most famed seducer in all of Europe. It is rumoured that no beauty – male or female, can resist Viggo. Despite leaving a trail of broken hearts and promises, Viggo’s charm and guile have always kept him out of trouble. Unfortunately, his latest conquest’s powerful patron and lover, doesn’t take kindly to Viggo sleeping with his ‘property’ and isn’t the sort to forgive – or forget.
Desperate to avoid prison, or a duel which he could loose, Viggo recklessesly promises to undertake a task of the patron’s naming. In a twisted game of revenge, the patron challenges Viggo to seduce the bright, mesmerizing and completely virginal son of Venice’s new mayor, Orlando, who he knows Viggo has been infatuated after since Orlando’s arrival a month ago, and knows there is no way Viggo will be able to resist Orlando.
However Viggo is unaware that Orlando, undertook an oath to remain a complete virgin until his wedding (the patron himself intends to be Orlando’s future husband, but Orlando does not know that), on pain of death should he break it, and Orlando.
The patron meanwhile, in the guise of friendship and 'protection', tells Orlando that Viggo is an evil seducer who has his heart set on Orlando, and will stop at nothing – including rape to ensure he has Orlando. As the patron guessed, as Viggo ferverently and relentlessly pursues Orlando, he falls hopelessly in love with Orlando, not realizing his seduction will lead to Orlando’s death…
Plot bunny 2: Loosely based on ‘Hustle’
Elite con-man Viggo has only narrowly avoided prison thanks to his lover’s, Orlando’s ingenuity. Unfortunately, Orlando, having “saved Viggo’s neck for the last time” now wants nothing to do with his criminal lover. In a desperate bid win back his lover, Viggo convines his team, to pull off the "best, and most dangerous long-con of the century".
Unfortunately, things don’t go quite according to plan when he finds out their ‘mark’ is involved with Orlando, and not in a nice way…
The con-team:
Viggo: Inside-man/team leader. Charismatic, perfectionist, persuasive and highly intelligent but sometimes rash, Viggo is wanted by fraud squads across both England and the US. Although Viggo is at the top of his game, and seemingly untouchable, his one ‘blind-spot’ is Orlando.
Liv: the lure. The only female member of the group, is both confident and cool - police consider her as accomplished in the art of the con as Viggo - and often uses her sex appeal in persuading male marks to hand over their money. She also handles the group's finances.
Ian: the roper. A life-long conner, Ian is, is the mentor figure to both Viggo and Elijah, and one of the most respected con-artists of all time. He is a gentleman and brings the most experience to the group. Ian gains a potential target's interest, before handing them over to one of the others. He’s known Christopher all his life, and the pair are both legends in their own rights.
Bean: The inside-man. Trusted friend of Viggo’s and second-in-command when Viggo is otherwise incapacitated. He has a cooler head than Viggo, and sees the ‘bigger picture’ while Viggo focuses on the detail. Bean has the ability to gain people’s immediate trust and put them at ease. Only Orlando, (and now sometimes Elijah) got away with calling him ‘Beanie’
Elijah: the wild-card. Ian seeing Elijah’s potential brought him into the fold three years ago. While appearing superficially arrogant and quick tempered, Elijah’s age belies a gifted mind and ingenuiniety that seasoned con-artists would envy. A criminal delinquent in his youth, Elijah feels a sense of injustice about the world and it's time for him to fight back.
Christopher: the fixer. Chris is the technical member, or 'fixer', who often prepares for a con by working smaller cons to build up funds, find suitable locations, or forge required materials. His wide social network of other criminals is also often called upon when a specific action or skill is needed for a particularly elaborate con. Like Ian, he is an English Gentleman to the core, and despite his profession, adheres strictly, like the rest of the group to a ‘code of honour’
Orlando: Although not a member of the gang, Orlando was quickly accepted into their ranks due to his unconditional love and loyalty, to Viggo and the gang. He was with Viggo for several years (over 5 years) prior to their break-up last year. Although Orlando disliked their occupation he loved Viggo and cared for the group and understood their code of honour. He frequently acted as the gang's, especially Viggo’s cast-iron alibi to the police etc, but found himself being used as a ‘lure’ or ‘inside man’ on increasing occasions. However a long-con of Viggo’s went horribly wrong, seriously injuring Orlando. On his recovery, he decided couldn’t take any more of Viggo’s lifestyle and left him.
