Making It Through The Night Chapter 6

Orlando awoke the next morning, as the sun came through the partially curtained window. He squinted his eyes as the rays blasted through the window making them water slightly. He put his hand out to block the light.

He looked around the room and saw that he was still lying in bed…alone. He heard some small noises coming from inside the kitchen. “Good,” he said why a sigh of relief. “He’s still here.” He had been so worried all night long that Viggo had been so mad and disgusted with him, that he would be gone by the time he had awaken the next day. He had tried to stay awake to keep an eye on the older man, but apparently, the dead need their sleep too.

He rolled out of the bed and sat their momentarily as he felt suddenly dizzy. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and stood and headed to where the noises had been coming from; the kitchen.

He could smell the aroma of coffee as he neared the room, the banging of dishes and pans were also heard. He peered inside the room to see Viggo making something at the stove.
Eggs.

Viggo turned slightly when he heard a small noise, and saw Orlando staring at him shyly. His face took on a stern look. “I made breakfast,” he said as he moved around the kitchen.

Orlando scratched his head, “Thanks,” he whispered as he walked into the room and sat down at the small table.

Viggo sat the eggs and toast down in front of him and turned away quickly. “I don’t really know if you eat or not…but I made these anyway.”

Orlando nodded his head numbly. “I’m sot sure either, but thanks.” He said quietly as he picked up the fork. He moved the food slowly around on the plate, trying desperately to think of what to say about what had happened last night.

Viggo sat down a few minutes later and took a bite of the eggs. Not bothering to look in Orlando’s direction as he did so.

“About last night….” He began, but Viggo cut him off.

“Can I at least eat my breakfast in peace first?” he asked, still staring down at his food.

“Yeah..…sure,” Orlando replied.

They ate in silence for a few minutes before Viggo pushed back his plate and let out a deep sigh. His appetite apparently gone.

“Viggo, I’m sorry..about what happened,” he began. “I have no excuse for my behavior, and I promise, it won’t happen again.” He looked up to gauge Viggos reaction to his rushed apology.

Viggo sat quietly in his chair, his eyes still downcast, staring at his unfinished breakfast.

“Please Viggo,” he begged. “Please still help me, you will won’t you? I haven’t ruined my chances have I?”

Viggo rubbed his hands over his dry, tired eyes. He had not slept well after he had gone and slept on the couch. He had had repeated visions of Orlando moaning and touching himself all night long and it was about all Viggo could take.

“Please Viggo.” The young man pleaded in earnest.

Viggo closed his eyes in defeat. God he hated it when Orlando begged. He had imagined him begging last night, with Viggo leaning over the strong, but lithe back, and slowly pushing himself into the oh so very tight and willing body. He shook his head. Stop! He told himself. Just stop thinking like this!

Viggo?” he heard the questioning voice.

Viggo shook his head again to clear the unwanted images .He licked his lips and tried to speak, his mouth dry. He took a drink and murmured a quiet yes.

Orlando’s body relaxed in an instant after hearing Viggo agree to still help him “Thank you Viggo,” he said relived. “The sooner we find out who I am the sooner I’m out of your hair!”

Viggo looked up just then. “Exactly,” was the only word he said as he got up and put the dirty dishes back in the sink.

Not the answer Orlando had been hoping for, but he wasn’t being turned down, and that was the most important of all he thought. Well, mostly.

“Look Orlando, I’m going to go take a shower and then we can start getting this over with, the sooner the better.” He said gruffly as he headed to the bathroom.

“Yeah sure,” Orlando replied looking as if he was pleased, but strangling disappointed in the way over Viggos enthusiasm to be rid of him.

Orlando had waited patiently for Viggo to finish his shower…the urge to sneak in almost unbearable as he listened to the water running. All he had to do was to walk through the door. It hadn’t mattered that Viggo had locked it. Orlando even laughed at that though the minute it had crossed his sex starved brain.

He soon heard the water turn off and listened quietly as he heard the man moving about in the bathroom. Orlando mind started to picture him drying of the firm wet body. The hairs on his chest springing softly as they were dried and the taut nipples peaked through.. He licked his lips as the delicious thought crossed his mind.

He was brought out of his temporary fantasy as Viggo walked out with a towel wrapped around his waist. His fantasy nowhere compared to the real thing, as his eyes raked over the half naked body.

Viggos eyes met his as he stood there at the door. Heknew Orlando was watching him. Knew that he had seen the hunger in his dark brown eyes. He knew that look. He had seen it on Karl’s face many times. It almost sent shivers across his bare skin. He knew without a doubt that Orlando was attracted to him. Why else would the guy being jerking himself off last night as they lay in bed together? He had so wanted to do the same himself, but the better part of him stopped himself. Orlando was a temptation he didn’t need. Couldn’t have anyway.

He swallowed quickly and headed to the bedroom to get dressed as quickly as he could. Feeling the gorgeous brown eyes following him as he did.

He came out several minutes later, and found Orlando standing in the kitchen ready to go.

“Do you have any idea of where to start?” he asked as he put his keys in his pocket.

“Um…I have looked around a little,” he said as he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket.

“What’s that?”

“It’s an address I think, but I can’t read the numbers very well, they’re smudged.”

“Is that a 1 or a 7?” he asked as he gazed at the paper Orlando was holding.

“That’s what I’m not sure of,” he said nervously.

“Well I assume it’s a 1 then, 641.”

“I wish I knew for sure, though,” Orlando sighed as they left the apartment.

“I’m sure it’s a 1,” replied Viggo again as they got into Viggos pickup.

“Okay,”

“Okay,” replied Viggo as he started the engine and pulled out into the traffic. “We’ll find out soon enough.”
