There are two untitled poems of Viggo that I have read, and they are interesting.

The first one is written in 2002.

You've changed cameras,
and I cannot be heard.
Is it me, or are you
just taking pictures?
Maybe a plane passing
saw what we are doing.
Maybe a passenger will
know that we are pretending
to be ourselves down here
in this skeleton of a house.

From the little I can think, it seems like he is with someone and he pretends to act in a way with that someone that doesn't represent who they really are/how they really act (towards each other?) They are pretending to be something they are not and maybe he worries that someone will discover this fact, discover the truth. "Down here in this skeleton of a house" the last line is very interesting. The "down here" implies/symbolises something unpleasant/unwanted. Maybe they are "trapped" in that "house", in this world of pretending. "Skeleton of a house"... Maybe that "house" used to provide something in the past, but now all that has remained of it is the shape, the skeleton. Or maybe it was a skeleton all the time. The thing is that they have no cover, they are exposed down there, in the darkness.

The second is very short. I have no idea when it is written.

YOU ARE SWEATING IN YOUR SLEEP
ON OUR RENTED BED
LIKE A LOST SUMMER CLOUD
PIERCED BY A JET HEARD
ONLY WHEN IT'S GONE.

He is together with someone, again, as most of the times, the gender is not specified, on a rented bed, a hotel/motel. I wonder why there. Maybe it was the only place they could meet as they do not live together/are apart. And the subject of the poem is sweating while sleeping. A nightmare? Anxiety? Cause of drugs, like painkillers and/or anti-depressants, usage? All of them? He compares him/her to a lost summer cloud that is pierced, "hurt" by a jet, making the cloud disappear without even someone realising it in time, when it is too late. The subject really seems to struggle, suffer. Sad.
