Fic Challenge?

Based on comment conversation with a friend, I've been tossing around the idea of doing a fic challenge, somewhat along the lines of vo_xmas or anglicandoorway, only perhaps more relaxed. I've actually been contemplating having people just pick a couple of genres and then listing things they do not want, and going from there...which would leave things much more open for authors, but there wouldn't really be any bunnies either.
