If you don't, this fic is about as real as the tan of a certain president (though I feel compelled to point out that fair-skinned people like me do get a orange tint when eating too much pumpkin and carrots... make of that what you will...........)
Dedication: This story is dedicated to three very special ladies: the incredible ranmaru whose posts about productivity and getting over writer's block were the final push I needed to sign up for CampNano 2018, and who therefore is responsible for this fic ever being written; the long-suffering and so very much appreciated silvan_lady whom I can't praise enough for her endless patience with me (and I apologise for making you do all that beta work and then having the gall to dedicate it to you!) and who has always encouraged me to finally start writing - without her, this wouldn't have happened... ever!; and last, but not least, the lovely gattodoro - this is a (very late) birthday present for you, my dear... This is definitely a story to make the 'tin hats' squeal with delight. Of course Orlando and Viggo are still an item and obviously Viggo will move heaven and earth to be with Orlando when he is needed.

Love the cameo from Ian - if anyone knows every last thing about theatre etiquette it would be him, though he might also have pointed out to the jealous cast mates that wihtout the 'big name star' the show would never have been financed and the rest of the cast wouldn't have a job...

Oh and I smiled at this simile ...personal insults as if they were strings of beads at Mardi Gras; colourful and informative.

Well done on making it through your 'first rehearsal' , now, like Orlando and his colleagues, you must keep at it to tighten up your 'performance'. *G*

As a later-comer to the party, I figured if there’s a debut-fic, it has to be a tin-hatter friendly one ;) (Me being among the chief tin-hatters, and so on...) And really, Orlando’s Instagram just makes it too easy to go down the tin-hat route ;)

If I had had the space (Silv very aptly pointed out that the whole rehearsal-scene read like it was part of a much longer/chaptered fic), I’d gladly have had Ian point out exactly what you said – without the big name drawing the audience, there’s a very good chance of neither of them having a gig ;)

:) I’m actually working on a second performance... and have a third one on the backburner. And -of course- my long epic WIP. So yeah, just as Orlando, I shall persevere and (hopefully) make my audience a happy one in future :D
