Disclaimer: It’s all made up. I’m not making any claims about anyone or anything. I make no money from this.
I am going against one of my cardinal rules: Don’t start posting *anything* until you have the story complete! Well – it’s almost done, does that count? This is going to be multiple chapters, but don’t know how many just yet. I had started this a long time ago, and then quit working on it. I just bought Dragon (speech recognition software) and it sparked me to work on this again. So – without further ado…
A/N: This will be a hurt/hurt/hurt/comfort story, and Orlando is gonna hurt, a lot, before he even begins to get comforted.
Orlando was dreaming about Christmas. He had spent their holiday break with Viggo in a rustic cabin in the woods, celebrating in their own special way. As he began to wake up, he remembered that Christmas was over and they were back filming again.
When Orlando finally started to rouse, he woke to the strangest feeling, unlike anything he had felt before. Lethargic and groggy, he ran his hand through his short curls and lightly scratched at his scalp. He was in his bed…their bed…as he realized that Viggo was not with him. Turning slowly, he rolled over to find Viggo sitting in the chair by the door, his arms folded across his chest. He looked furious, his jaw clenched tight and his face reddened with anger.
Orlando furrowed his brow, wondering what had him so mad. “Vig? What is it?”
Viggo stood suddenly and walked a few steps towards the bed. “Have a nice night with the hobbits?”
Orlando’s mind wandered for a few moments. He was out with the hobbits last night, and Viggo went to Ian’s for a poker game. For the life of him he couldn’t remember much of anything after getting to the club, the rest of the night was a blur. He felt hung over, tired and out of sorts. He jumped as Viggo kicked at the bed with his foot, and he realized that he had been talking to him.
Viggo’s eyes were flaming with rage. “So Orlando, who’d you fuck last night? Cause it surely wasn’t me. I come home to find you stretched out on the bed, naked and reeking of sex.” He took several deep breaths before continuing. “You actually brought someone home and fucked them in our bed! And judging by the blood on the sheets, it was either really good or really bad.”
By this time Orlando had climbed from the bed, rubbing his forehead in confusion, trying to recollect the previous evening. “Wait Viggo, I don’t know what happened last night. I can remember drinking some shots with Dom, but everything is hazy after that. I wouldn’t have done something like that, no matter how drunk…. His words were cut off as he stepped on something cold and gushy on the floor. His mouth dropped open as he realized the floor was littered with used condoms. He began to shake as he wondered what happened last night and then he realized that Viggo was about to walk out on him.
He reached for Viggo’s arm only to have it knocked away with a violent shove. “Don’t touch me! You are never to lay a hand on me ever again!” Viggo was screaming at this point, his body shaking with anger.
He turned and grabbed the bag he already had put together and stalked from the room, Orlando right behind him. “Viggo, please wait. Let me explain. God, please don’t walk out. I love you so much, please don’t do this.” Viggo turned as he reached the door and laughed in Orlando’s face. “Don’t do this? I didn’t do anything… You did. Goodbye Orlando.”
He walked to the front entrance and tossed his key on the table and walked out the door, slamming it hard against the frame. Orlando stood in the foyer, still dazed from it all.
Orlando made his way back into the bedroom to survey the damage. He slowly walked around the bed, picking up the used condoms while staring at the smears of blood on the sheets. What had happened last night? He couldn’t believe that he had cheated on Viggo. Nothing made sense. He reached around to check himself, wincing as a stinging pain coursed through him. He drew his fingers away to find blood on them, and he began to shake as he realized that it was true. He had let someone take him to bed last night.
