fic search, AU Mpreg

Hi everyone!
Our list mod Cynical Terror gave me permission to post this here. I'm looking for a fic. I can't remember the title or the author...as I fell out of the fandom for a while and during that time, got a new computer.....losing all of my bookmarks in the process. I've searched for the fic on mirrormere and in the Library of Moria...but have so far found nothing.

Here's what I remember about the fic:

It was an AU, Mpreg story (with Orlando as the carrier of the baby). Orlando and Viggo have an arranged marriage with each other and his sister Sam (?)  falls in love with Sean (maybe?). Orlando's father is a real jerk and cares only about money, since their family is near financial ruin. I'm also pretty sure that Viggo has some kind of servant who becomes Orlando's friend and convinces him that Viggo is an awesome guy.

There were scene's through Orlando's pregnancy....and I think a few where his father harasses him about being pregnant...?

I also know that I read it here on Livejournal, but the author's name escapes me....it might have been someone who was/is really popular in this fandom...but again, I can't be totally sure.

My memory of this fic is a little hazy, but I remember that is was awesome!

Any help finding this fic will be much appreciated!!!!! *hugs*

Hi Hun,

The story you're looking for is called "In Spite of Everything" by Liriel. It's about a young Orlando being forced into marriage to a Danish Lord (Viggo), in order to save his family from his violent father's financial issues. Viggo's stipulation to the marriage is that Orli must provide him with an heir within a... year, I think. Orlando has neither the desire to wed this stranger, nor give birth to a child, and yet he finds that he can truly love Viggo and find happiness despite their circumstances.

Ok, yay! We found it! Now, here's the catch.

Liriel locked her journal a while back, removing "In Spite of Everything" from Mirrormere and other public sources. She's apparently felt unappreciated for her contribution to the LOTR Fanfic community, and because of that, her fiction is available to only a select few. Sadly, I am not one of these people, and she seems to no longer accept requests to be friended.

Your best bet would be to visit Liriel's LJ ( http://liriel1810.livejournal.com/ ) and see if you can't convince her to either friend you, or send a word doc of this fic. She's also a talented Orlibean writer, and author of several excellent works such as "Anteros" and "Detour." Friending her would open up a plethora of new fiction for you to enjoy.

Hey that sounds like a great read! Other than the author's journal, that is apparently f-locked, can I get or find the fic someplace else. I know the author doesn't usually friend anymore (thats a shame because she sounds like she is talented). Would love to read that fic sometime.
